Just trust yourself. A lot of people have said it, but working with Maurice is a dream. He said to me one day, 'You are enough. You don't have to do any more than you do.' I've heard that before. I think that's a lesson in life.

 

 

 

What we have and what we bring is unique, and we need to cherish it. It's something I know, but deep down there are those insecurities, so it was nice to hear it again.

 

 

 

Once you've trained, you have to be dedicated, and you have to take it seriously. You need to have self-discipline.

 

 

 

When you're auditioning, try not to take it personally. You will be 'rejected' more than you will get a job.

 

 

 

It really can happen for you if you put good work out there and you believe in yourself.

 

 

You need to have talent, drive, dedication, and a major desire for your dreams to come true. It can happen.

 

 

Never say never. Especially never say never on a soap opera!

 

 

We spend so much time, especially in this business, on how our hair looks, our makeup and our lines and all and just in general. We’re so concerned with ourselves that I think it’s really important to get involved with other people.

 

 

 

What's the saying:” You can't please all of the people all of the time"?  So, please some of them some of the time.

 

 

 

If you're going to make a mistake, make a new mistake.

 

 

 

We all make mistakes and do crazy, wild and wrong things -- we’re not human if we don’t. But to learn from it and to take steps from that experience is a wonderful thing to do as an actor, as a human.

 

 

 

The first step is admitting it and saying, ‘This is who I am. These are the things I don’t like about myself, but I can work on it.’

 

 

 

You get hurt. You get attached to things, think you're going to have it but it doesn’t go through. It’s when you finally let go that things can come to you.
